This paper illustrates how the conventional circular patch has been modified leading to a butterfly shaped patch. The proposed patch has been implemented on the substrate of 30mm×42mm of area with height 1.6 mm. The dielectric material FR4-epoxy has been used for the substrate. This antenna designed to be operated at a frequency of 15GHz which is used for 5G communication. The simulation results like S-parameter, antenna gain, VSWR, radiation efficiency, directivity etc have been determined with the help of HFSS Software.
